If you’ve got the itch to get certified, and you’re already a seasoned developer who’s got all the hard skills down, then you’ve come to the right place! I’ve been helping other developers get certified for a few years now, and I’m ready to open up these beginner-level notes for you.
Level 2 certification is an intensive two-day course that covers the basics of the Level 2 exam. In addition to a significant amount of study, you need to attend a number of classes and complete a considerable amount of hands-on practice. Needless to say, the price tag on this certification is high. So why consider the Level 2 Certification Master Class? Because you will learn everything you need to know to clear the exam on your first try.
There’s a lot of information available for those looking to take the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam, but not much for those looking to take the Level 2 exam (a subset of the Level 1). This article is a compilation of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) that I have received from my students as well as the most common sources of information found online. I hope this article will help you prepare for your Level 2 exam.
We’ll open enrollment for the Certification Level 2 on September 22nd, 2024, the only practice-based mentoring developed particularly for Level 1 students and graduates who wish to take their coaching talents to the next level.
You’ll be able to provide unrivaled outcomes for anybody you deal with, retain up to 10x as many clients as previously, and establish the coaching practice of your dreams by the end of this mentor-led program.
The Level 2 Certification is for you if you want to be personally mentored by PN’s Master Coaches and join the top 1% of coaches in the world.
Check out the frequently asked questions section for more information on the program.

Q:
So, what exactly is the program about?
A:
The Level 2 Certification, our best ranked (and most coveted) program, is a year-long, practice-based mentorship designed to enable you:
- Deliver unrivaled outcomes and keep up to ten times as many customers as previously.
- Feel very certain that you can manage any teaching situation.

You’ll work through real-world coaching scenarios, projects, and case studies on a regular basis, all with the goal of helping you become one of the top coaches in the world. This means, for example:
- The most critical part of coaching will be mastered: behavior-change psychology. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how others think, feel, and act. You’ll also know how to keep them motivated and on track, even when things go rough.
- You’ll learn how to work with clients of different types of experiences, lifestyles, and needs (and how to create world-class results for them). You’ll be ready for everyone that walks through your door.
- You’ll learn how to use PN’s “deep health” concepts to achieve results that go beyond the surface and have a beneficial impact on your customers’ life in various ways (mental, emotional, relational, etc.).
Your coaching will be drastically transformed after a year of intensive study and guided practice—guaranteed. You’ll be head and shoulders above 99 percent of the world’s coaches, able to give life-changing outcomes to anyone who seeks your aid, and develop a rock-solid business that will continue for years.
So, what does this imply for you and your company?
Apart from the strong sense of accomplishment that comes with perfecting your craft, our study indicates that the average Level 2 coach:
- receives more clients than the typical Level 1 coach,
- has a higher customer retention rate than the average Level 1 instructor,
- improves the outcomes for those clients, and
- reports that their teaching practice is more enjoyable and enjoyable.
Indeed, as impressive as our Level 1 certified coaches are, current ProCoach data from over 100,000 clients indicates that Level 2 qualified coaches have ten times (!) the retention of Level 1 certified coaches.
Q:
Could you please tell me more about the program?
A:
The Level 2 Certification Master Class is, at its most basic level, more than a learning program; it’s a learn-by-doing curriculum.
You earned a professional-level understanding of nutrition science and behavior-change counseling in PN Level 1. That means you have the resources you need to help individuals eat healthier and make positive changes in their bodies and lives. To put it another way, you’re already miles ahead of the majority of coaches.
In PN Level 2, you’ll concentrate on honing your coaching abilities. We’ll pull back the veil and reveal our most cutting-edge research, strategies, tools, and technology. You’ll also go through the same mentor-led program that PN’s in-house nutrition coaches go through.
This program combines all we’ve learned in the nutrition sector over the last 15 years of coaching and study.
That is to say:
- Thousands of academic and clinical studies have been examined by us.
- Over 100,000 clients and patients have benefited from (and learned from) our method.
- Thousands of students have been trained and guided by us.
- We’ve also worked with specialists in sectors ranging from psychology to corporate strategy.
We then turned all of this knowledge and experience into the Level 2 Master Class curriculum, which lasted a year.

Q:
Can you elaborate on the distinctions between Level 2 and Level 1 certifications?
A:
The Certification at the first level provided you with a broad core of nutrition and coaching knowledge, as well as a strong foundation in nutrition science and behavior-change coaching.
Now it’s time to hone this knowledge, adapt it to your specific needs, and put it into practice on a daily basis so you may achieve actual mastery in your coaching practice.
Between Level 1 and Level 2, there are a few significant differences.
Level 2 is a one-year rigorous, highly structured program.
Level 2 is a year-long, highly structured, mentor-led program with daily classes and regular tasks, whereas Level 1 is a self-paced program.
We won’t sugarcoat it: Level 2 is a big undertaking. Every day, you’re thinking, reflecting, researching, practicing, and/or interacting. We test all of your coaching skills and push you to grow and develop.
When you complete Level 2, you will truly feel as if you have earned it. Anyone can accomplish it, but it takes dedication and hard effort.
Level 2 is a hands-on, practice-based course.
With textbooks, course materials, practice activities, and tests, Level 1 is more akin to a university course. Level 2 is more akin to a mentored practicum or apprenticeship at the graduate level.
Every day, we urge you to practice a Level 2 coaching skill and think about how you can apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real-life situations.
You’ll also step by step work through real coaching scenarios; this is real-world problem solving with on-the-ground issues.
This isn’t, in essence, a learning program. It’s a program that teaches you by doing.
The following is a quote from one of our Level 2 graduates:
“If Level 1 was like learning how to operate, the Level 2 Master Class is like standing next to a world-class surgeon as they assist you in operating!”
Your clients do not get healthy by learning about nutrition and exercise, as you are well aware. They stay healthy by following a constant diet and exercise routine. (And, in many cases, by enlisting the help of a knowledgeable coach.)
Similarly, the most surefire method to become a world-class coach is to continuously practice good coaching under the supervision of your own coach.
Level 2 delves deeper into the science and practice of behavior change coaching.
It’s not just a slew of nutrition research (though we give you plenty of that too).
In essence, Level 2 assists you in mastering the skill of nutrition coaching.
(As well as anything else you’d like to coach.) The abilities are transportable.)
Here’s a quick side-by-side comparison.

Q:
Who is the Master Class for Level 2 Certification for?
A:
We created this year-long intense curriculum to fulfill the needs of health, fitness, medical, strength, and rehab professionals who are working to enhance their clients’ and patients’ lifestyles, nutrition, and overall well-being.
The Level 2 Master Class is beneficial to anyone who works in or owns a health and fitness business.
Some students take it as their next step toward becoming an expert coach (Level 1 first, then Level 2) since they’re still working in a career they’d like to leave so they can work in health and fitness.
Others merely go through the training so that they can assist relatives and friends… or anyone who seeks their assistance.
Whatever your objectives, the Level 2 Master Class is built on “learning relationships,” a teaching style that has been shown to maximize knowledge transfer from mentor to student and assist anyone, from any experience, in leveraging their own unique abilities in this sector.
However, the PN Level 2 Certification Master Class is a planned program that must be prioritized in your life for a period of 12 months. As a result, it is not suitable for everyone.
It’s fantastic if you’re content with where you’re at right now—if you’re completely sure in your ability to assist everybody who walks through your door. Continue to do what you’re doing.
However, if you want to take your coaching skills to the next level…
If you want to provide the best possible results to the greatest number of people…
If you want to make a big difference in your field…
And if you have the time, attention, and effort to devote to honing your craft…
… you should take the PN Level 2 Certification Master Class.
Learn more about how the Master Class works and who it’s for in this short video.
People attend Level 2 to improve their coaching skills and gain more satisfaction from it. They also end up with more customers, keep them longer, and provide better results.

Q:
Is there a time commitment?
A:
We require that students devote 45-60 minutes per day, or 5-8 hours per week, to reading their lessons, applying their new abilities, and networking with other health and fitness professionals in the program.
You won’t always use that much time, and the timetable is somewhat flexible (you don’t have to be in class at 9 a.m.), but you won’t want to speed through your daily lessons and practices.
You’ll also be going through some challenging case studies, conducting research, studying for quizzes, and reflecting on your coach’s input.
These tasks necessitate concentration, cognitive effort, and mental presence.
We recommend that you devote the time, energy, and focus that they—and you—deserve.
And, rather of seeing this time as a “cost,” consider it an investment in yourself and your professional development.
Q:
Why is a certification like this offered?
A:
The fields of health, fitness, and nutrition are quickly expanding, and many people are looking for exciting employment opportunities in these fields.
Unfortunately, most health, fitness, strength, and rehabilitation experts believe they are lacking in one or more of the following areas:
- A thorough understanding of nutrition that reflects the latest recent research and practice in the subject.
- A thorough understanding of applied psychology that aids in understanding client/patient motivation and behavior (yes, even the “illogical” stuff!).
- The capacity to present and explain all of that fantastic nutrition and psychological knowledge in a way that genuinely helps people.
- Understanding of certain demographics (such as athletes or those recuperating from injuries) or life phases (such as youth, aging, or pregnancy) and how to design programs to meet their specific needs.
- The assurance and clarity that comes from continuously practicing fundamental skills under the guidance of skilled and caring mentors.
- An awareness of how to properly position and handle their coaching business in a competitive market.
The Level 2 Master Class addresses each of these topics, providing graduates with new abilities, knowledge, and confidence, which is why we created the curriculum. It’s for coaches (or coaches-in-training) who desire to be at the pinnacle of their profession.

Q:
Is this how you go about training your own coaches?
A:
Yes, we started this program as an internal training program for newly recruited coaches.
Because, as gifted as some of our applicants were, we saw a huge opportunity to assist them in honing their talents so that they could regularly coach at the best level imaginable.
Since its inception, PN has been coaching clients entirely online, and our coaches each work with several dozen clients at a time. This means they must produce world-class results of equal (or greater) quality as if they were simply teaching a few in-person customers.
As a result, we developed a year-long coaching program for our new hires and partnered them with one of our Master Coaches to form a practice-based mentoring.
We were completely astounded by the results.
Great coaches were 10 times better at connecting with clients, negotiating problems, and assisting clients in achieving their objectives.
We decided to make the curriculum available to our Level 1 students and graduates who wish to take their talents to the next level after seeing how well it worked for our own coaches.
Q:
What are the topics covered by the Level 2 Certification?
A:
Our course overview and detailed syllabus, week by week, may be found here.
The Level 2 Master Class, like our Level 1 Certification, is “half nutrition, half coaching.”
Many of our students have already completed advanced nutrition or health training (such as physicians, rehab specialists, movement coaches). Many already have professional certifications and work in the fitness or health care industries.
Despite their advanced education, these highly trained professionals nevertheless find it difficult (and even frightening) to create effective intervention programs and keep clients and patients engaged, motivated, and on track.
Coaching fills in the gaps between what you know and what your clients can and will accomplish.
As a result, the Level 2 Certification covers topics such as:
- Reviewing clinical trials and evaluating research quality
- Composition of the body
- The biology of stress and psychoneuroimmunology / psychoneuroendocrinology
- Structure, function, and health of the gastrointestinal tract (including microbiome)
- Age, sex/gender, ethnicity/genetic heritage, sociocultural, and demographic differences
- Fertility in both men and women, as well as hormonal health
- Disabilities and chronic illnesses
- Athletic nutrition / performance nutrition
- Cognitive dietary restraint and disordered eating
- Eating practices are influenced by appetite, hunger, and contextual cues.
- Meal-planning and food-preparation techniques
- Fasting on a regular basis
- Interactions between supplements and medications
- Rest and recuperation
Q:
What if I already know everything?
A:
Then you must own and operate a phenomenally profitable nutrition coaching company!
Seriously…
The truth is that you may “know” many of the skills we teach, but you don’t always put them into practice as well as you could.
That’s OK.
That is why we practice on a daily basis.
Only that you have a developing mentality is all we ask. Be willing to learn, try, develop, and receive feedback.
Be willing to learn. Consider what it’s like to be in the client’s position.
Bring an open mind, be receptive, and consider the idea that you are not yet a superstar. (Or that you are a rockstar, but you are aware that even rockstars can improve.)

Q:
What qualifications do you have to teach a class or provide a certification like this?
A:
Some of the greatest nutritionists, PhDs, dietitians, and specialists in the industry make up our team.
Dr. John Berardi, the company’s co-founder and co-author of the Level 1 and Level 2 programs, for example, has extensive experience in nearly every element of health, fitness, and nutrition. He’s done the following:
- A nutrition student at the University of Western Ontario, where he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and Nutrient Biochemistry.
- A nutrition professor at the University of Texas, Eastern Michigan University, and the University of Western Ontario, among others.
- Mr. Jr. USA in 1995 was a competitive physique athlete.
- A personal trainer in Miami who owns and operates a thriving training business.
- A scholar who has published research in peer-reviewed publications.
- Author of more than a half-dozen nutrition books and hundreds of articles for publications such as Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and others.
- Nike, Equinox, and Titleist have all hired him as a consultant.
- Thousands of regular individuals, as well as a few elite athletes and Olympic gold medalists, have benefited from her expertise in nutrition.
So, in addition to being academically competent, he has a distinct perspective—one that is well-suited to presenting this content, particularly to professionals.
Almost no one teaching nutrition today has seen the area of nutrition from more perspectives, both personally and professionally, than Dr. Berardi.
He’s also written chapters for other nutrition textbooks, developed Masters-level university sport nutrition courses, and provided nutrition certification material for other certifying bodies.
As a result, he has a lot of expertise writing academic course materials.
He’s just one person, after all. A group of professionals developed our Level 2 Certification program, which includes:
- Dr. Krista Scott-Dixon is an adult education specialist and the architect of our Coaching program.
- Brian St. Pierre, RD, MSc, is a performance nutrition specialist and a consultant to professional athletes.
Most importantly, we are competent to teach this because we have extensively used and tested this technique with our own clients and coaches at.
Keep in mind that isn’t only a certification firm.
We’ve been secretly running the world’s largest body transformation study project through our Coaching system for the past 15 years.
Over 100,000 people have gone through our nutrition coaching program, which consists of a holistic fitness, diet, and lifestyle intervention.
The goal of this coaching is to assist people in losing weight, gaining lean muscle mass when needed, and radically transforming their bodies, health, and lifestyles.
The point is, because the entire program is online, we can collect data on anything. And we mean everything when we say it.
We can’t “eyeball” things because we don’t see clients in person. We require data. As a result, we have comprehensive psychometric (personality) profiles on each of our clients. We keep track of all measurable and important behaviors, as well as compliance. Of course, we take images and track body composition and performance on a regular basis.
And as a result of this meticulous data collection, it’s safe to claim that we know what makes excellent coaches and what helps customers alter their bodies and lives better than nearly anybody else on the planet.
Remember, we’re not discussing what we believe is linked to success. We’re talking about something we’re certain is linked to success. Our clients must know and comprehend what to do in order for us to be successful. They go ahead and do it. Consistently. Their body composition, health, performance, and quality of life all improve.
Our coaches must likewise perform at a high level in order to be successful. It implies they’re constantly learning, growing professionally, and honing their coaching abilities.
Q:
When it comes to coaching, why is “behavior-change psychology” so important to you?
A:
Simply said, the body reacts to what the mind and emotions do.
Consider the following scenario for a client:
- motivated
- inspired and empowered
- action-oriented and able to maintain momentum
- clarity about the following stages
- comfortable and assured
- devoted to the program’s aims and totally aligned with them
- adaptable, resourceful, and problem-solving
- open and sensitive to change and growth
- self-encouraging and self-compassionate
- strategic and proactive
- concentrating and prioritizing
- peaceful, trustworthy, and unconcerned
- positive
Imagine being a coach who has those feelings!
This is referred to as “the inner game” by sports psychologists.
Change your mind and emotions, and you’ll change your body.
Behavior-change psychology provides us with specific tools and approaches for assisting our clients in making positive changes.
But this isn’t your typical Freudian or lab-rat-running-mazes psychology. It’s all about the actual world.
Wouldn’t it be good to know that no matter who or what you run into in your coaching practice, you have a clear plan and a system for dealing with it?
(And, preferably, that you feel calm and confident while doing so?)
That is the power of behavioral-change psychology.

Q:
Is a university degree required to become certified?
A:
No. We don’t require a university degree because we presume no prior understanding of biology, chemistry, psychology, or other related subjects.
Expect this certification to be difficult if you struggled in school.
We require that you be willing to improve your reading, writing, communication, self-organization, and time management skills.
We’ll also ask you to push your learning boundaries. At some point during this training, you may most likely feel challenged.
We do, however, provide mentoring and guidance. We’re here to assist you if you’re willing to show up, give it your all, and work hard.
Q:
What kind of results can I expect if I put what I’ve learned in the Master Class into practice?
A:
Check out this video for more information on the types of outcomes you can expect:
Would you like to learn even more? Become a member of the VIP Club today.
Q:
After completing the course, what kind of recommendations will someone be able to give to clients?
A:
That’s an excellent question, and we go through it in detail in the course.
Nutritional advice from health and fitness specialists is permitted for customers who are otherwise healthy. You can provide nutrition recommendations even if you don’t have the Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
We’re presenting a significantly more effective system for producing those recommendations.
At the same time, while Level 2 covers a wide range of topics in health and physiology, it does not qualify you to give nutrition advice to treat or cure disease. Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is what it is, and it can only be provided by a certified dietitian or a medical doctor.)
Q:
Will you provide me with business guidance as well?
A:
This is not a course on business development.
We won’t get into technicalities like whether client management software is ideal, how to resolve employee conflicts, or how to perform your bookkeeping.
We do, however, assist you in determining how to personalize your professional services and business to your own coaching skills, values, and objectives.
We also provide you with access to a group of Level 2 students who are also enrolled in the program. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with a global network of engaged, like-minded expert coaches.
No matter how good you are at marketing or bookkeeping, you must first and foremost provide a fantastic product: your coaching services.
Of course, you’ll still be included on the Certified Professionals page of the website.
Q:
Is it certain that I’ll make money? What is my return on investment?
A:
The Level 2 Master Class will undoubtedly be one of the most rewarding coaching experiences of your life. As a result, we have a very generous refund policy. However, the Level 2 Certification program does not guarantee that you will generate money.
Of course, many people earn more money after completing the Level 2 Certification because they use what they’ve learned every day, over and over again.
In reality, according to our data, the average Level 2 coach:
- compared to the average Level 1 instructor, obtains more clients
- compared to the average Level 1 coach, keeps more clients
- improves the outcomes for those clients, and
- expresses a higher level of satisfaction in their coaching work.
Indeed, as impressive as our Level 1 certified coaches are, current ProCoach data from over 100,000 clients indicates that Level 2 qualified coaches have ten times (!) the retention of Level 1 certified coaches.
If you devote yourself to coaching mastery, you’ll become a better coach who attracts more customers, keeps the ones you have, and inspires them to suggest their friends.
Q:
What are the opinions of others on the show?
A:
The Level 2 Certification has received tremendously excellent reviews. Here are a few examples:
“I’m finding that I’m becoming more prepared to coach clients from many walks of life. This isn’t just another form of’surface’ coaching; it gets to the heart of human nature, habits, and emotion. “It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself as a coach.” Michelle Mobley Simpson (@MichelleMobleySimpson)
“PN2 will show you how to use your personal skills to put you among the top performers in your field. Coaches in the program are wonderful resources, offering spot-on advice, useful knowledge, and just the appropriate amount of supportive mentoring.” Zoe Georgas Johnson (Zoe Georgas Johnson) (Zoe Georgas Johnson) (
“This course has shown me that there are no limits to the skills and knowledge that may be learned in order to improve oneself. You can read these notions in the morning and apply them in the afternoon.” —Countess Keith
“With 9 years as a coach under my belt, I expected to gain knowledge from this course, but not to the amount that I have. Long-held ideas have been questioned, and I’ve had to rethink some of my personal priorities, resulting in my becoming a better coach and person as a result of improved knowledge and a supporting system.” Bronwyn Adams-Hooper (Bronwyn Adams-Hooper) (Bronwyn Adams-Hooper

When you do, you’ll have the opportunity to join up 24 hours before the rest of the world. Even better, you’ll save a ton of money on the program’s regular price.
[Note: The Level 2 Master Class is reserved for Level 1 Certification students and graduates. So, if you haven’t already done so, enroll in that program.]
Interested? Your name will be added to the VIP list. You’ll save up to 37% and get your position 24 hours before the rest of the world.
On Wednesday, September 22nd, we will be accepting applications for our next Level 2 Certification Master Class.
If you’d like to learn more, we’ve created the following VIP list, which offers you two benefits.
- Pay less than the competition. People that are eager to get started and willing to master their coaching practice are rewarded. As a result, when you join the Master Class VIP list, you’ll get a discount of up to 37% off the regular price.
- Increase your chances of getting a space by signing up 24 hours before the general public. The PN Master Class is only open twice a year. We expect it to sell out quickly due to great demand and a limited number of slots. However, if you join the Master Class VIP list, you’ll be able to register a full 24 hours before the rest of the world.
If you’re serious about becoming one of the top coaches in the world, the PN Level 2 Certification Master Class is ready to guide you for a year.
